Across the country, millions of single mothers carry the full responsibility of providing for their families while also being the primary caregivers for their children. The emotional weight is immense, and the financial pressures are often overwhelming. For many, the hardest part is feeling like they have to do it all alone.
 

Village Haven was created to help revive something humanity has always needed: the village.
 

Village Haven is a community-powered platform where families help families. It connects single moms with flexible, meaningful work opportunities while helping families find trusted support within their community. Moms may also bring their children with them while completing certain jobs, allowing them to earn income without sacrificing precious time with their kids. Our goal is to create a system where parents can earn income, care for their children, and build genuine relationships with the families they serve.

Safety and trust are foundational to Village Haven. Every provider who joins the platform must complete a background check. To ensure that financial barriers never prevent a deserving mom from joining, we are launching the Background Check Scholarship Fund so that donors can help sponsor these checks and open the door for moms to participate.
 

This campaign is raising $500,000 in seed funding to launch and grow Village Haven. These funds will help us:

• Sponsor background checks for single moms joining the platform

• Expand awareness so families can discover Village Haven

• Build and strengthen the Village Haven platform and technology

• Grow the team and community that helps weave local villages together
